Full-Service design is an area where most of us spend a great amount of our time, your home should reflect a comfortable relaxing space to unwind. Great design starts in the details incorporating your requests and personal taste with our style and experience. Our RB design team presents a comprehensive overview which includes vision and design boards, samples, detailed graphics and illustrations, and a budget to help you visualize the design and concept of your home. This package is designed to move forward with RB as your project manager.

OPT 2. INTERIOR DESIGN - HOURLY

INTERIOR DESIGN FEE $250/ per hour

This is a perfect service for a client that needs help with project “hot spots” - questions and answers. We offer drafting, designing, furniture layouts, and all the same areas of expertise but instead of the whole room plan you can zone in on particular areas that your project needs with our help and focus.

  • At RB our full-service interior design service is flexible and available for a combination of home, cottage or commercial design. We believe that design should be simple and resonate organically with timeless style. Submit your project via our client intake questionnaire above. We will contact you to set up a 15-30 min client Meet and Greet (complementary) and formalize a catered design proposal for your review and approval.

  • Full-service interior design projects typically have a minimum duration of 6 months to 1 year from start to completion. New build projects can range from 6 months up to 3 years from start to completion.

  • Right now! If you are considering the RB team for your project, it makes the best use of time to get us involved from the start. We can help connect you with the dream team of collaborators (builders, architects, tradesmen, etc) to start your project off on the right foot. We live for design so that means we are knowledgeable and filled with ideas that you may not have considered on your own. Design can be burdensome and costly to go backward or make never-ending changes once your ball is already rolling without the right team to support your project.

  • We love traveling and will go anywhere you want us to! If that happens to be on the other side of the world even better! We are Muskoka-based, but with the help of technology and great communication skills, we are able to work remotely and manage from a distance. We have serviced clients across Canada, including Toronto and Muskoka, as well as in the USA & Europe. As part of our process, we travel to the site at select project milestones, as well as for the furniture installation day.

  • We love incorporating our client’s existing pieces and heirlooms as they bring personality, soul, and emotion to a space. We will, however, be honest about whether or not the piece will pose limitations on the design, or simply won’t work. Hey we are honest!

  • Our design team collaborates with multiple skilled craftsmen, contractors, and tradespeople to produce the custom designs we create for our clients. There is a lot of design management and facilitation involved in achieving the result, which is a part of the value of working with our talented team.

  • Our team is highly collaborative, and each of our talented designers is involved in the overall success of each of our projects. Our team is led by Amanda Smith with over 20 years of building and designing experience which is supported by intermediate and junior designers. At the onset of the project, you will meet with Amanda and our administration team, whom you will also be communicating with for the duration of the project.

  • We encourage clients to find alternate lodging for the duration of the construction process as renovations are very disruptive to everyday life, especially for a family. During the meet and greet of the project, we can give you an idea of the length of time you would be away from the site so that this can be worked into your total investment value and so that you can begin to plan. Living in a renovation state should be avoided to the sanity of everyone involved in the project!

  • We offer in-person or virtual Hourly Design Consultations that you can book above. These are billed by the hour where you can pick our brain about anything in regards to your project.   • AT RB Design Full Service Interior Design offered in person or virtually is a flat rate per room $1495.95. This service includes drawings 2D, renderings 3D, design boards, product shopping lists, and schedules. Hourly Interior design is $250 per hour and can be booked in person or virtually. Other fees can be determined and presented after the initial client video meet and greet.
