AMANDA SMITH

Principle Owner Visionary & Designer

Growing up on the other side of the ocean, Amanda spent her early days surrounded by the Scottish countryside. Inspired from an early age with great architectural masterpieces she was bound to art and design. Moving to Canada to start a new adventure she attended Seneca College, graduating in Graphic Art Design, then later applying to the Art Foundation & Design program at George Brown College. After graduating in 2003 she relocated to Muskoka and began working alongside one of the top interior design companies in the area. Fast forward 15 years, 3 kids, 1 dog later, Amanda and her family live in Muskoka full time now, enjoying the beauty year-round. Amanda has successfully renovated and built many new homes for her family around Muskoka. Many of her projects can be found in the portfolio galleries and on our Instagram page.

In 2022 Amanda launched her first Podcast, where she talks about all things design, entrepreneurship, mom life, CrossFit, and how to manage life as a single boss babe - tune in here: The Creative Influencer Podcast

MARINA KEOLA

Interior Designer

Marina was born in Brazil and moved to Canada in 2019, by herself, in order to start a new chapter of her personal and professional life. Always passionate about Arts and History, she started painting at the age of 4, and it is still a hobby to this day. Graduated in Architecture in Brazil in 2016, and soon after joined a diploma program in Architecture and Lighting.

In 2019, came to Canada, and studied Design Foundations at Fanshawe College, and began her career in Canada as an Interior Designer. She found in design and art a way to understand people and manage to transform not only spaces, but also lives. Despite missing her homeland, the Brazilian heat, her family and her dogs (Duda, Mila and Zoey), Canada welcomed her very well and today it has become her home. Marina loves connecting with people, traveling, photographing and looking for inspiration in nature and different cultures.

SONJA LAHTINEN

Design Intern & Support

Sonja is an Ontario-born girl with Finnish roots who has found her home in beautiful and charming Muskoka. Her work life has transitioned over the years, encompassing all sorts of industries such as trades, manufacturing, brewing, customer service, and retail. Through these past experiences, she has gained a wealth of knowledge and an eagerness to learn as much as she can.

Her love of art and design started as something personal, whether it be drawing, sewing, or creating her own unique and cozy spaces. Interior design has given her the opportunity to bring that passion into her professional life. She has fallen in love with interior design because it gives her the ability to help bring people’s dreams to reality. And also, who doesn’t love a great before and after? When she’s not working she can be found getting lost on nature hikes, jamming to her favourite tunes, or traveling the world.
